2,110 words today. Eight and a half pages. I completely reread the entire novel before beginning - which is up to 263 pages, 15 chapters, at this point.
It started out a rough day - just couldn't get going. So in the afternoon I jogged two miles on the treadmill, lifted some weights. Then I went down to my little stream and spent an hour on the meditation rock in the center. When I was done meditating, I started up the path again and came to a halt as a large bird crossed my path and landed in the sycamore. It was a Barred Owl and we sat and stared at each other for a long moment before I quietly turned and went around him through the woods. It seemed like a good omen to see an avatar of the goddess of wisdom, and my writing has flowed much more freely since. Don't know if it was the exercise or the meditation or the owl. Don't care as long as the words flow freely.
I'll try to start the actual writing sooner tomorrow. B. is off to North Carolina so I won't have any excuse not to write all day.

I'm glad the words are flowing now. Thanks for listening to me today. I don't know what I'd do without you and Shadow.
Love,
Shameless
