It is Done

Connected the dots. Wrote the Epilogue. It is finished. The first draft of Sand Sifters is done.

I am alternating between wanting to scream happily at the top of my lungs, to wanting to put my head down on my laptop and weep. I can hardly believe it. My second novel finished. This one is much better thought out and planned than the first, but I have no way of judging the worth of it. I suppose that will come later when I have enough distance to create a second draft. Right now I should celebrate this success without denigrating it with fears to come.

Actually, right now I think I'm going to fall into bed. I've been writing since ten this morning and my brain is as mushy as a day-old deep fried banana. Not sure I'll be able to turn it off at this point, though.
