climaxed

9658 and counting. The climactic scene has been written, and boy was it a challenge. One of my favorite minor characters, Luella, died in the confrontation - which I wasn't expecting. Since I named her after my still living Grandma, I certainly wasn't planning on killing her off. Now I am wrapping up the pieces, linking the climax to the story ending I've already written. Then the epilogue. It is time to end this tale.
